Which Museum is Best For You?
Good to Know Before You Go
Opening days differ: the Academy Museum is closed on Tuesdays, the Natural History Museum closes on the first Tuesday of most months, and the Nixon Library is open seven days a week.
Some experiences are ticketed separately from general admission, such as The Oscars® Experience at the Academy Museum and the seasonal Butterfly and Spider Pavilions at the Natural History Museum.
The Academy Museum is across the street from the Metro D Line's Wilshire/Fairfax Station, and the Natural History Museum is a short walk from the Metro E Line's Expo Park/USC Station. The Nixon Library in Yorba Linda is easiest to reach by car.
