Live shows run every 60 to 90 minutes. The first show is at 12:45 PM on weekdays and 10:45 AM on weekends, and the last starts at 8:45 PM. Children under five are admitted only to the first show of the day. Standalone planetarium tickets are sold only at the Observatory for same-day shows and can sell out in the evening, so arrive early. When are the public telescopes open for stargazing?

Free public telescope viewing—including access to the historic 12-inch Zeiss refracting telescope and lawn instruments—is available every open evening from dusk until 9:30 PM, weather permitting.
